"I have always wanted to own land and my dream came true in 2020. I wanted property with ponds, creeks and topography changes and found the perfect place in southeastern Oklahoma. After buying the ranch, I didn’t know that I needed cattle until I saw how much grass I had, and decided to put some cows on it.
I started researching different cattle breeds to see what I liked and decided on Texas Longhorns because of their calving ease, gentle disposition, unique colors and of course their long horns.
My brother Chris and I purchased our starter herd from Darol Dickinson in early 2022 and Aquarius Cattle Company was born. We have been learning a lot on how to raise Texas Longhorn cattle and are slowly growing our herd. We will continue to select cattle that have size, exceptional horn length and great confirmation, as well as bold colors."
