Since the beginning of 2017 Hired Hand has been compiling additional sales data and sharing it via our Blog and Mobile Marketing program. We plan to continue to share these stats from future consignment sales as well. We hope that they will be beneficial to breeders and show Industry sales trends. We welcome your feedback and requests.
Please find below some additional Red McCombs Sale results courtesy of your friends at Hired Hand*:
- Heifer Sale: 18 of 21 lots were sold (4 PO’s) for a total of $220,700 and an average of $12,261.11
- Cow Sale: 81 of 88 lots were sold (2 scratches, 5 PO’s) for a total of $545,200 and an average of $6,730.86
- Overall Sale: 88 of 99 lots sold for a total of $765.900 with an $7,736 Average
- There were 19 Cash Cows that sold (cows $10,000 and over) for a total of $407,500. The Cash Cow Average was $21,447. Lot H10 was the high selling Cash Cow at $60,000.
- Top 10 lots average: $29,200
- Top 25 lots average: $18,420
- Only one lot sold on-line for $4,500 to Dale & Jill Morwood in Oregon. Thank you Morwood's!
- There were over 70 registered on-line bidders.
- 48.5% of items were up-bid by the internet
