Haltom Hollar
James and Lynette Haltom, London, Kentucky
Template design, Wrangler package
Haltom Hollar became home to the Haltoms in 2008, but didn't house any Longhorns until 2012. While their original intentions in owning livestock were for meat, the Haltoms quickly changed their priorities after attending their first futurity.
James and Lynette still enjoy attending futurities. On their website they share these thoughts about the experience: "The best thing I can tell people about futurities is that you meet so many wonderful people and it's exciting to see what other breeders are accomplishing. We root for everybody to win, even us, but it's not the reason we enter anymore. Now the fellowship with old friends and encouraging new breeders is what brings us the most joy."
