Last week we announced the release of Breeder Beacon, a mobile app for Longhorn, Deer and Horse breeders. Breeder Beacon uses your phone's GPS location to show you fellow breeders in your surrounding area or on your route. In addition to being able to search by breeder type, name, ranch name, city, state, etc. users can also view breeders in map view or listing view. Users can even save a list of their favorites.
Breeder Beacon is a free download in the App Store (iPhone) and Google Play Store (Android). It is also free for breeders to be listed. If they're not currently in the app they can email their information, including physical ranch address to info@breederbeacon.com.
"You guys have really taken things to the next level with the breeder beacon," said David Mills, Legend Valley Ranch after trying out the app. Andy Martinez, MMR Longhorns downloaded it upon it's release and commented "Y'all have taken technology and Longhorn sites up not one notch, but several. I love that y'all keep pushing the bar! Congrats!"
