Gilliland Longhorns:
"At Gilliland Ranch, we are fortunate to own nearly 6,000 contiguous acres in the Flint Hills of Kansas, 7 miles north of the the Oklahoma border," says Mark Gilliland. "Our Longhorns are very content here in the rolling hills and wide open spaces not far from the Chisolm Trail where their ancestors traveled. Our breeding program strives for the complete package prioritizing Tip to Tip horn measurements followed closely by conformation, color and disposition. We try to strategically stack pedigrees to complement desirable anatomic features and mitigate less desireable ones. 3rd Day Ranch:
The
3rd Day Ranch website is still a work in progress as Dan and Lindsay are working to gather new photos of their amazing herd. But, you can visit their site to learn more about their herd and view pedigrees.
Dan says "At 3rd Day we grow and sell farm fresh produce. Kicking off each spring we have a home grown pick your own strawberry patch, followed by twelve planted acres of various fruits and vegetables. We finish the season with a pumpkin patch for all ages. Along with our farm we have added registered Texas Longhorn cattle to our operation. Our herd is built on the famous McGill/Wilson ranch in WY and we are so excited to see what the future holds. We cannot say enough thanks to Owen and Johnny for selling us some of their animals! It has been a real privilege to get to know them! We would also like to thank Joshua Cashman for introducing us to them! We are excited to partner with Joshua from Rockin’ J Longhorns on Big Wig. He is McGill bred and one of the longest T2T bulls in the world. His pedigree is deep top and bottom with horn. Feel free to look over our website and stop in anytime."
