They have bought and sold cows, heifers, and bulls from Virginia to California, and Michigan to Texas​, and are striving to build an Elite herd of colorful, long-horned cattle.

They also breed Watusi cattle.​ Ross Ranch Horns uses selective breeding and meticulous research in order to constantly improve their herd and their offspring. Their goal is to raise a low volume of quality animals and offer them to other horned cattle enthusiasts.
