What was instilled in Dr. Ingrid Wilson Huang at a young age, later became a mother-daughter partnership which has now become a two state, family operation. RoughShod Ranch aims to raise Longhorns and Watusi the way they like them; with eye catching color, incredible horn, impressive bloodlines and great confirmation as well as gentle disposition. They have a lady’s eye for what’s flashy, knowledge of pedigree for horn potential, experience in the show ring to select for confirmation and easy to work temperament, as well as a foundation herd selected far and wide across the US.
Ross Ranch Horns is a small ranch owned by Will Ross and is located in the piney woods of East Texas, just South of Tyler. It started with 2 Longhorn cows in 2010 and now has over 25 head. They also breed Watusi cattle. Ross Ranch Horns uses selective breeding and meticulous research in order to constantly improve their herd and their offspring. Their goal is to raise a low volume of quality animals and offer them to other horned cattle enthusiasts.
